As to #13, are we confident that a recommendation based on a study published in May of 1969 is up to date?. One wonders if lighter equipment, improved fabrics, and improved knowledge of conditioning, hydration and electrolyte composition haven’t changed in 41 years. And #3 starts out “Adapt athletes to exercise in the heat (acclimatization) gradually over 10 to 14 days. Progressively increase the intensity and duration of work in the heat with a combination of strenuous interval training and continuous exercise.†So if JJ and the coaches employ #3 appropriately, does the variable of #13 change?

Re: WSU gameDon't laugh but when we changed to white helmets in the 70's, I heard at that time that, that was one of the reasons why. I assume it came from the athletic dept. when they made that decision.
