U.S. Soccer World Cup game-watching party

Postby PonyPride » Tue Jun 22, 2010 4:08 pm

PonyFans.com sponsor LAKEWOOD 1ST & 10 will be opening its doors at 9 a.m. Wednesday (June 23) to welcome fans who want to watch the United States against Algeria in the third game of the first round of the 2010 FIFA World Cup on its multiple big-screen TVs.

For those who are new to Dallas (or somehow new to Lakewood 1st & 10), it is located in the shopping center on the northeast corner of Mockingbird and Abrams.
PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.

...or maybe not...we just scored!
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

That goal was HUGE!

the last time there was a USA match at 1:30 on a Saturday, we were very full and it was an extremely exciting environment to watch the match whether you know anything about soccer or not.

I'm already getting emails from patrons who are going to start getting there when we open at 11:00 for the match to ensure a table.
