Mustang Club Travel Packages

Postby Arkpony » Mon Jun 28, 2010 12:00 pm

I just got the travel packages for Navy and Tulane. For the trip to Navy it costs (for TWO nights!) $1400 PLUS airfare for 2! Thats around $2100 for a 2 day stay and the game. And of course, there are extras on top of that. Wow! The rooms are $699 PER PERSON for 2 nights, or $1400! I have to find a different approach to getting there.
Long live Inez Perez!

You can always drive but it will be about a 23 hour drive including the time change...plus add in the dozen or so trips to the gas station each way!

We have friends in the DC/BWI area we could stay with and the airfare from Little Rock to BWI (non stop) is around $300 RT. What got me was the charge of $700 PER PERSON for the room for 2 nights!!

The Mustang Club Package for Annapolis was hardly what you could call a "deal". I'm sure it is a wonderful hotel, but they seem to be a bit overly proud of themselves. Luckily there are other hotels in the area...even if you stayed in Baltimore, it wouldn't be that hard to get to the game.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Next thing you know they're going to raise ticket prices and charge a ticket-purchasing fee (errr .... "require a donation") because after a streak of one bowl appearance in a row, that's how you show gratitude to fans who loyally supported the team through the lean years. Travelocity and Orbitz are going to make some money off PonyFans this season.
