SMU, 3 time NCAA champ, recently decided to drop men's track. Jim Copeland is the Athletic Director. (most alums want him fired for having an 0-12 football team)

I feel sorry for track but this is Texas and we need the money for the TWO sports that CAN/Maybe make some MONEY.

looks like a pretty lonely campaign; perhaps a one man crusade. It's no fun having your sport eliminated for budget cuts...no more fun than I'm having seeing my office closed for the same reason, but it's today's reality. Deal with it.

I went to the site and tried to locate where you determined the number of signatures. I was able to find that the number of replies was zero and the number of views was over 300. How did you determine the number of signatures? If the number of replies plus the original post equals the signatures, your assumption is correct.

Wonder where letsrun got the line that most alums want him fired after the 0-12 football season?
