I strongly suggest, that everyone carpet bomb Turner's email, mention the money you have commited to the program, that's the one thing that gets through to him.
Sorry if this has already been asked, but do we for sure know why they were not admitted? Was it purely academics or was there something else involved?

what has been written was SAT on one and transcripts on the other.
Never saw him in person only on film. He had some clutch picks in HS. Two were game winners. He's not very big but he plays really physical and is always in the right place at the right time. He'll be a good player wherever he ends up.
Let's hope Turner gets this right before the [deleted] hits the fan, cause it's going to. Best way for him to diffuse what's coming, is to right the ship himself and now.
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

Wow, this is a super optimistic post from you these days. I honestly figured that the ship had sailed, and we were past being able to do anything about it.
That leads me to a question that you may be able to answer without compromising anything: There is an appeals process, but I don't know (and haven't read anywhere) if that has been exhausted. Is there any chance of fixing this via normal channels, or will it require special action by the administration?
Jeremy took the SAT in the fall and received a low score on the English portion. The SMU coaching staff suggested he take the ACT, since SMU accepted those scores, too. He did, and received a score high enough to make him NCAA eligible.
This committee reviewed the SAT score and "believed" Jeremy wouldn't be able to pass English at SMU, so they rejected his admission - two days before he was to move in the dorm.
The only character issues you folks should be questioning are those of the admissions committee, not Jeremy's. He's a fine young man and would be more than just an athletic asset to SMU.

I really have no idea where we are in the process, but I'd think some protocol could be skipped, if just to avoid the public crapstorm that is around the corner.
