Our competition is the Bowl of SAT scores—not athletic competition. Won’t we all be united sitting on The Boulevard, watching our Faculty challenge our Administration in a game of Simon Says? Gosh, had we known this would be our future recreational athletic event—the bubbas and bubbettes (their opinion of us sport enthusiasts) would not have stayed to graduate. The intellectuals have missed the boat and fallen off the raft. The ship is sinking but you can bet—they still need our money to build a pool and swim. They are not smart enough to realize that the Alumni have ownership of the life jackets.
