We did once, but he was denied admission to the site as his computer was booting up. How dare you add humor at a time like this!

From a purely entertaining stand point, we would be better off recruiting a gay Spanish teacher.

Here's the thing, I doubt the OP is an admissions plant, but thinking he may be isn't paranoid. Most big time ADs and even staffs delegate an individual to monitor new media, especially in times of damage control. It's not paranoid, nor is it a rare occurence
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

Long Time Pony is either the mystery person from the grassy knoll or reincarnated moodymadmen. Isn't the internet fun? Thanks, Al. (could we have a poll regarding the resurrection of semi-colons?)

Anyone remember how many posters suddenly disappeared when Bennett was fired?

Did they forget more about posting than we'll ever know?

I don't mind divergent views if they really want to debate the facts-I could do without mindless cheerleaderism. You learn very little by always talking to people that think exactly like you do. Jon Embree (forgot his handle) used to take the administration point of view on here years ago and I learned a lot about the mysterious morass of admissions from testing him. In fact, sometimes I make posts with fact scenarios hoping someone might contest the scenario and enlighten us all. (But you guys are right to be paranoid-Back in the 1980s I used to regularly eat Lunch with my Mom (former Chairman of the Foreign Language and SPANISH Department) at the Faculty Club and sat at large tables with University leaders, administrators and Department heads we all know and the majority despied athletics even before the DP)
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

I'll bet it also smelled of rich mahagony and leather-bound books.
