"no bad semesters in school, no behavior problems" - he must have really bombed that SAT. Probably took it on a Saturday morning after a Friday Football game-seriously the kid probably didn't have many free weekends since Brenham went deep in the playoffs in all 3 sports he played. http://www.brenhambanner.com/articles/2 ... orts01.txt

Someone asked why June wasn't speaking.......
"After SMU’s admissions board declined to accept Hall’s application for acceptance into the university, head football coach June Jones appealed the decision. That appeal was denied.'"

from the article:
Nonetheless, Hall’s situation will serve as a warning to future Brenham athletes, West said, including defensive back and current SMU commit Rodney Hubert, who will play his senior year with the Cubs this fall.
“It would be totally unfair for me to not warn any athlete that this is a possibility,†West said. “My first job foremost is for the athletes at Brenham High School, and SMU is aware of that.

hubert has been looking for a reason to decommit from the moment he committed. my guess is the first D1 offer he gets, besides SMU, he is gone

then we've got the Farris/Seals situation. I know I was very surprised Acker showed up after McCoy quit the BB team

Hubert has an official offer from Colorado St in writing...apparently, he has 2 more verbal offers (which will be in writing soon). I would bet Hubert decommits in less than a month...
