Did they also tell him late like Hall? That would be horrible.

[quote]He'd already moved to Dallas.[quote]

He came here against advice from many advisors...go a big school thay said....he liked SMU. This is a 6'7 290 pound OL prospect that will go to just about wherever he wants. A real shame for him and us....makes him look silly, and obviously SMU as well. A PR nightmare right now...

Good article.

It's disgraceful that they told him as late as they did. But then again, nothing will happen to them. So typical.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Its a shame. I was looking forward to seeing Hall at practice. He was one of the guys I thought could come in and make an impact early. Hopefully he finds a place to play and it isn't too late.

Lack of class by SMU to tell these kids right before it is time to enroll in school. I am sure the coaches are not thrilled about this. Turner and Orsini have some explaining to do. Getting tired of the lies and bs by SMU about athletics. Are you going to be "Top 25" or not. SMU's actions of late indicate we are not. Don't get me wrong - great coaches - definately "Top 25" coaching but this crap is ridiculous. BTW - where is the indoor practice facility Orsini?

Okay, so let's see if you can actually explain yourself this time. Why, exactly is this Orsini's fault? And for that matter, why is the lack of an indoor practice facility Orsini's fault? All he can do is go out and secure pledges to donate for the facility, and whine to the President or Board that we really need it. Exactly where are we going to put it right now? Does Orsini wave a magic wand and tomorrow the Baird's factory, or the intramural fields, or some other space is just magically cleared and ready for construction?

Who can we write a letter to at SMU to try to get our voice heard? I am so disappointed by our school right now.

Has there been any more news about why the two players were not admitted?

Nope...or at least not for us lowly unwashed.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
