Is anybody else staying at Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham? It is walking distance to the stadium from what I was told and only about $94 a night for 2 queen bed suite. We got our room there, it looks to be fairly new.

Also, is anybody else planning on Dove Hunting that weekend since Saturday is opened up now?

The last time I was in Lubbock for a Texas Tech game was 2008 and I was surprised to see that little motel across the street from Jones Stadium was still in buisness after all these years (and looking the worse for wear, too).
