Dear Mr. SMU89

Thank you for your numerous emails. We all want SMU to field successful teams, particularly in football and basketball. I share your concern. Unfortunately, there have been so many procedural changes made over the last three years that I was not aware of our Boulevard assignment policies.

To be frank, I'm not sure how Mr. Mestengo scored that sweet Boulevard tailgate location in early June. Accordingly, I have created a joint committee of the Athletic Department and the Provost’s Office to review this issue and make recommendations before UAB on Sept 11. If their recommendations are unsatisfactory, I will issue a Presidential directive to instal a fire hydrant on the northwest corner of Bishop and Binkley and to cutoff power to the nearest electrical outlets.
