The two of you will probably get this thread 86'd before the acomplia thread!

94 I told you we can't get a thread axed for anything anymore.

I thought yours was a "for sure" and my GW pic would be the coup de grâce!

We are doomed!
Doomed I tell you!

i can assure all of you that if there were some magical place to find 19-29 year old hot chicks that knew all about sports, and were quick to take and fill food & beverage orders, didn't screw up checks, complain about shifts & tips, were on time (i.e. early) for work, remembered to clock in (AND out), weren't connected at the thumbs to their cell phones, I would be guarding the gate with a high caliber firearm. (we had one that fit almost all of these criteria, but she's going back to the corporate world - probably because she fit all these criteria)

we try to hire the best staff we can to serve our customers, and are constantly looking for more because of the high turnover rate.

Dutch: When we've had poor service at 1st and 10 [under the current ownership] it's usually when there doesn't appear to be anyone in the place but the waitresses and the cook. There's not even someone behind the bar - although we usually go for lunch.

Obviously, the manager/boss can't always be out on the floor. Or maybe he/she is, but they're sitting at a table disguised as a customer. But when our waitress overcharged us and then shorted us on our change, I looked up and saw no one from 1st and 10 except the other waitress. She was polite, apologized and eventually got it right, but I definitely got the feeling she wasn't worried about the boss noticing she had to make so many trips back to our table.

Just an observation. I don't know how to run a place, and I realize there are things you have to put up with sometimes in a "neighborhood" establishment, but the benefits usually outweigh what you get at a chain restaurant.

I dominated in a three man golden tee game there recently. But that's not surprising, considering I am a former 5-time SMU golden tee champion. Five time, five time, five time, five time, five time.

And I dont even play golden tee anymore. Qualifying for Big Buck Hunter regional and world championships begins aug 1st. Need to get that machine online Dutch.

The Force can't manipulate a video game, per se. I could cause the game to explode or knock it over or something, but I can't make it do something it wasn't supposed to do. It doesnt work that way. I can use the Force to increase my hand/eye coordination, which is very useful for Golden Tee and Big Buck Hunter.
