That is a javalena and it will EAT you. To bow hunt for javalena is close to crazy.

Give me the back of a truck or inside a jeep with a 30-30.

Ferrel hogs are just as mean but do not have the TEETH.

javalena you can eat but a 125 pound ferral hogs are YUMMY.

And maybe some gator tail too!!!

The hairy one with the bow hunter is javalena. The first one is a ferral hog.

bo hunting requires a completely different skill set. compound bows have come a long way, but you still don't take many shots over 50 yards. plus its a different experience when you are looking at something in the eye that could easily kill you

yes people spear hunt, havent seen an atlatl by I tried one once at mesa verde... not that easy to use

i've actually gone knife hunting for hogs. it's an awesome experience.
