Interesting suggestion by Blackistone in today's DMN. Meyer is one of winningest coaches in college basketball. Look at what [deleted] Bennett (similar background) has accomplished at Washington State. These guys understand how to overcome the lack of resources at a place like SMU and they are not financially motivated. Meyer is revered by high school coaches in this state (he has been the featured speaker at the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches a couple times); they would love their players to play for him.
