of course, 9-3 is clueless. wonder what happens in the championship game? obviously this writer assumes we will lose the bowl game because we could only win 1 non-conference game.

We actually have a very respectful OOC schedule. TTU, TCU and Navy are all predicted to have strong seasons. This guy really went out on a limb predicting SMU runs the conference and goes 8-0. THis is an old, fond feeling coming back. SMU predicted to do well in conference. Its like an old drug come back to sooth an old pony. Glad I lived long enough to have the old elixir come back.

I suppose I would have to be pleased with a 9 win season...regardless of whether it comes with 4 or 5 losses...although a 9-5 that ends with 2 consecutive losses in the biggest games of the year would hurt.
