New Chain-of-Command for Basketball

Postby Bergermeister » Mon Mar 01, 2004 9:12 am

If we get Rolando Blackman, hopefully, we'll get some of his baggage... namely his good friend Mark Cuban, who might be willing to make a paltry donation to help his friend secure the renovated Mark Cuban Court at Moody Coliseum, the Mark Cuban Luxury Suites on the Mark Cuban Mezzanine at Moody Coliseum and the Mark Cuban Basketball Practice Facility on Mark Cuban Drive across from Ford Stadium right next to the statues of Doak Walker and Mark Cuban.
THEN, we hire Rolando Blackman as General Manager of Mustang Basketball and Jimmy Tubbs as Head Coach. This is bound to make all the blue hairs and grey hairs sweat... seeing this young whiper-snapper's name going up on buildings and street signs. Then, they'll kick in bigger bucks for the new natatorium, volleyball coliseum, baseball stadium, equestrian center, presidential library, a retractable roof for Ford Stadium, and the Cuban Corral, a permanent, on-campus home for Peruna. Time is money, draw-up the contract!

And Cuban will get SMU an invite to join the Big Ten so he can watch his Indiana Hoosiers play in Dallas each year.
