Will somebody please explain to me why football teams need an indoor practice facility for a game that's played in virtually any weather. This is the wussification of football. How can guys who practice in an air conditioned facility survive in 110 degree heat at Kyle Field? How can guys who practice on a dry field, manage a monsoon at Navy? How can guys who practice in a nice warm facility then play in 20 degree weather at Marshall? I hope Pink Taco gets the naming rights. First, we get geldings, next we'll be wearing tu tus.

Because everyone else has one, we install one. I'd rather focus on getting the Education Department up and running so that athletes can pursue a career in athletic education. I'd rather get the learning center working well, so that more academic risk players stay eligible. Those need to be the first priorities ahead of an indoor practice facility. Now if someone wants their name on a building, fine. Let them donate money for building that. Otherwise, let's fix the things that keep us from being truly competitive.

The education department is already up and running.
