“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

Re: BIG NEWS!I have a brother-in-law who is a Mississippi grad and says there are actually a lot of people who are upset at his leaving. They saw him as a project who would be ready in about 2 years (hence the greyshirt) and that he is closer to 6-6, 6-6 1/2. I don't know - that's just what I'm hearing from a couple of MSU fans.
Re: BIG NEWS!Is there any chance of us sticking this kid on the other side of Margus Hunt to block kicks? I admit, I don't know anything about the kick-block team. I would have to imagine that could be an absolute wall when it comes to blocking kicks.
Re: BIG NEWS!
um.....I'm guessing no chance. supposedly, he canceled his visit and is visiting florida ?international instead. unclear if a 'save' is possible, but I believe we are in collective breath-holding mode.
