SMU Junior Has Second-Best Throw Of Her Career

MONCTON, Canada (SMU) --- SMU junior Ayla Gill finished sixth in the hammer throw at the IAAF World Junior Championships on Saturday at the Stade de Moncton. Gill threw 57.28m (187.93 feet) on the fourth of her six attempts. It was the second-longest throw of her career.

Awesome.

SMU really needs to concentrate on recruiting very good hammer throwers and discus throwers when they start practicing at the Mrs. Baird's site so they don't end up throwing their objects on to Central.
