J Tubbs can hit the ground running; do it SMU.

I admit that if there is a big name longshot out there who is willing to take the job, SMU better jump on it. With the exception of such a big name, I am becoming more and more convinced that the way to go is Jimmy Tubbs. We can always hire a hopeful assistant looking for a shot, or a low major hot commodity with a good record. There are 10 of those types out there for the taking EVERY single year. How often are we gonna be able to find someone who can hit the ground running with the school, local recruiting and the players on the roster now? Does anybody else NOT want to see another 5, 7, maybe 9 year rebuilding process unfold again? SMU cannot afford it. Jimmy Tubbs is not the only guy who has upside, but if the hire is not a known commodity, the right way to go is Mr. Jimmy Tubbs.

Jimmy hasn't exactly hit the ground running at OU. Who have they signed from the DFW area since he went up there?
