as we have all batted around recently, there is a question of how much additional school requirements for admission beyond ncaa requirements is acceptable and palatable to SMU supporters of all kinds. of course, I am an unabashed JJ fan, but have also come to be concerned/alarmed by the direction of academic standards deterioration throughout college athletics.
I am not privy to backroom politics, so all I have made are observations that appear curious to me.
