And the turnover continues...

Postby FriscoPMG » Sun Aug 01, 2010 5:11 pm

Ahhh, another change to the coaching staff. I'm not a subscriber but is it safe to assume Geary is gone after getting pulled off the road? If so, then so much for our great Reggies!!

From Rivals front page:

BREAKING NEWS: It's a very eventful Sunday within the SMU basketball program and PonyPride is all over it! The Mustangs have lost another assistant coach, along with filling one of the two open positions as well.

I imagine we'll see when the investigation goes public. Heard the stuff is very minor, and was just a straw on the camels back. there were a few others, including suspect work ethic.
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

....were heavily criticized for not recruiting the state of Texas. He's much more of an east coast guy and recruits that area but does it well.

Just one more in the long, long line of brilliant Doh assistant coaching hires. I also heard one of the basketball trainers quit. So the turnover continues, and this program under Doh continues to be a bad damn joke...
