Dallas Football Classic

Postby Pony_Fan » Thu Aug 05, 2010 8:54 pm

Did anyone else get something in the mail from the DFC today?

I don't understand why they would do this. How can they make any money?
Ties to which conferences? Looks like the Armed Forces Bowl is still going on this year...

BTW...I believe the armed forces bowl will be played in Ford Stadium this year and possibly next year too while Amon Carter Stadium is being remodeled.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Maybe they could get Nebraska to play in the game and they could play with themselves. (Pun intended.)

pretty sure every member CUSA school gave them their season ticket holder list.

Real quick, can someone remind me of what the weather was like in Dallas while we were in Hawaii?

An enclosed Ford would be a perfect venue for this game, not the 1/2 empty Cotton Bowl.
