Thought Klemm was recruiting the Vatican there for a moment.

I don’t like the injury bug. Many times this can be contributed to incorrect training / conditioning. Thinking about my kid’s week ankles prone to sprang. David Oliver had him running in sand; it fixed it big time just an example. [deleted] can happen I just don’t like the double injury.

So will the first crisply thrown pass from Padron be hitting Pope on a rope?

Should we get him his own pope-mobile for the sidelines? Call the Circle of Champions!

Get ready for a photo caption of him running over a linebacker - "An Audience with the Pope"

Do you think they might sprinkle holy water on the end zone after Pope scores a TD?

I like how he thinks we won 2 games in 2008. If the halo from the 2009 season can double our 2008 win total in recruits' minds, maybe in a couple more years our recruits will think SMU has always been good.

Well JJ says Pope reminds him of Earl Campbell the way he runs. That would be nice to see. :

The only other returner was moved to linebacker, which opened up the job to Pope.

So, Line to LB??
