The "lukewarm embrace" was that of one Richie Whitt.

I don't know what this means either. I will note that Whitt is the guy in his blog that basically called Darius Bell a pu$$y because he had a concussion, only to be told how friggin uninformed about Bell's situation he was. To make up for it, he did a full article on Bell without mentioning his earlier blog post.

Now, one could conclude from that lesson, he got a lot of good contacts at SMU as result and knows a lot about SMU football. Or one could conclude that he doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. Regardless, the post is vague.
