I think 2-2 is the line going forward. Just hope for close games against TT and TCU on National TV...one of those won is huge for the season.
Thats so bad for Loftin.....prayers in order for the kid....he worked so hard.
It sure helps that we have so many athletes on campus this year.....we will need all the back ups ready to play.

Im expecting 2-2 and hoping for 3-1 or more.

This team should be able to beat UAB & Wazzou at HOME if they think they want to play for the conference championship.

I would be pleased, but not happy, only thing that would provide solace for losing to UAB is if one of the wins was against TCU. Beating Tech to open the season would be great, but would be quickly forgotten if we then turned around and layed an egg in our home opener to UAB.

Out of Tech and UAB, I would rather win the UAB game...the Frogs however is a different animal.

Beat UAB and/or TCU...one of those two things need to happen to feel good.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

These injuries, even to backups, show our main weakness going into the season. with the academic caualties, transfers and graduating Sanders and Zimmerman we only have two receivers with significant playing experience at the slot or wide receiver positions. Haynes mainly played as a tight end for blocking purposes but I think he is going to have a breakout year. That leaves a couple of young guys with potential and some promising youngsters and some project-type guys. On top of that it is not like the receivers they are recruiting are Big 12 type guys who can take a pounding. Most are in the 5'10" 170 lb range so all it takes is one solid hit. Say your prayers we can stay healthy and the yound guys step up and the coaches keep doing their magic!

Nacho. It is not about survival...it is about wins and losses!
