looks like at least part of my pre-season prediction is coming true (I thought we might see a logjam of teams finishing 13-5 to share the WAC title). Looks like the logjam is at 6 losses, but Nevada can tie UTEP as conference champs with a win tonite. Must admit I hoped SMU would be one of the teams that challenged for the title, but I think I actually predicted 11-7 for our guys and figured we'd go 17-13 again this year.

Listening to today's game, the thing that jumps out at me is the fact we've made Rice turn it over at least 3 times now on SHOT CLOCK VIOLATIONS!!! What a complete turnaround...the guys are actually hustling on defense. I still don't expect much this year, but I like our chances next year because I think we will be a deeper and better conditioned team.

Who is the backup PG next year? We are really hurting without Hop out there.
