Will McDonald a Fresman preferred walk on from New Jersey and Randy McKinnon the Masters candidate from Syracuse sat at our table, good kids from the East! Will was an All State LB'r from New Jersey and was his teams MVP and is moving up the ranks and will see some time on Special Temas this year. I asked how many walk ons there are and he said we have over 20 walk ons!! I don't remember ever having that many walk ons at SMU.....
It was fun to see the excitement at the Lunch but no new infromation came from JJ really.
The mexican food was ok....needed the chocolate to round out the lunch.

And even more significant is the fact that in this year's crop of walk-ons, more than a few of them look like real players. A huge area of improvement over past years IMHO.

at the end of the season the Bowl luncheons were getting upwards of 300 people. Kickoff luncheon was in a much bigger ballroom. I think the ballroom we were in was larger than where it was previously (Chantilly-main ballroom-vs Khmer).

Anyone remember the get togethers at NSL JJ's first year? 15, 20 people?

And the ballroom was full, yeah? Went to a couple when in town last year and the increased turnout each time was really cool. Enchilladas and chocolate cake. I missed out.

They had 15% of the room curtained off. But it was a very nice turn out. I would think a little more than the bowl lunch thingy. You always know who is going to be there.
