Do away with football out there and just start recruiting Rugby players - could play thoughout SE Asia, Aussie's and New Zealand. Would be less expensive because it's not as much equipment

I agree. Play 12 home games. Keep 100% of the gate and concessions. There should be 12 teams a year willing to "vacation" their players to Hawaii. Play it up right and maybe find a way to get the visitors to pay for the right to play there. Promoted properly I bet they could have a successful and profitable program. If necessary play 1 or 2 games a year in the States for large payouts. If feasible, travel to different Islands for home games to draw more fan support. They could probably get concessions from the NCAA for certain benefits if there was anything to be had.

um....don't say that too loudly. their women's volleyball team consistently ranks in the upper tier in the country -- say, top 10 or so.
