You know, it really wouldn't surpise me if the TCU folks are looking for a way out of the MWC.

I'm cool with that if the mega conf or MWC - CUSA AQ winner take all doesn't happen. It keeps CUSA West intact and that is about the best scenario short of what I just mentioned.

Peering deeper into my crystal ball - yes, I see the Big East raiding at least one C-USA team as well. I see Memphis, Houston.... its a bit hazy....

I need to check my posts. I seem to remember when TCU left CUSA to go to the MWC, that I gave them two years. I said getting near the Airport 5 was playing with fire. It might have been longer, but I was a little short on the time frame. I then surmised that the SunBelt or the MAC would welcome them. In short order, they were left behind in the SWC dissolution, left behind in the WAC 16 explosion, moved to CUSA, moved to the MWC. And now the funniest rumor is the BE which has its closest team 900 miles away from Ft. Worth. Utah has now left, BYU is packing up. TCU is back in the WAC that they left 8 years ago. I suspect if CUSA teams hold their water for a day or two, the MWC will explode, and we can pick up TCU and AFA without much effort at all.

Even if the Frogs do go to the BE, that's a risky proposition. If the Big-10 and/or ACC ever feel the need to add teams, they will rip the Big East to pieces.

If Houston does go to the MWC, I guess we could tell BYU they can play all their sports but football in C-USA.

So what? Let's say TCU goes BE, and BE gets ripped apart. Every non-AQ conference would instantly take TCU. They'd be back where they are now. No loss.

I think if TCU goes to any AQ conference other than big east, they never see another BCS game

If I was them I would stay in MWC or Big east...
