Saturday Morning Practice...

I was at practice this morning from around 9:30 to 10:30.

Who were 4 and 13 at corner? I assume 4 was parks?

Some of the young 2nd and 3rd string receivers are having issues with their routes.

Has the secondary depth improved significantly, or are we a little lacking at WR? Hard to tell, but I thought our backup corners were much better than they have been in the past, playing a lot closer coverage and not getting burned deep.

Crawford really impressed me.

7-on-7 was really interesting to watch. In the past, there were holes everywhere. The speed and athleticism at linebacker has improved to the point where it isn't an easy game for the QB anymore. In fact, a few times Padron just had to hold the ball because nobody was open.

I was impressed by Jeremy Johnson and Guinyard. I thought I saw Centers make a nice play too, but it was across the field from me so it might have been Guinyard.

The main takeaway for me today, not impressed with McDermott. Hopefully he was having a bad day, because he looked bad. Never got that feeling from him before.

A lot of second teamers getting reps, so it was hard to judge overall strengths and weaknesses.

Interesting. Castro looks infinately better than he did last year. Gray is longer than I thought he would be.
