Madden won a Super Bowl and managed to keep the Raiders strong with all the egos and crazies they had on that team. He knows football. But his job included being entertaining. As with anyone trying to be funny, some humor hits a rut now and then. I personally enjoyed listening to him. Much better that some of the dorky analysts they have now.
