I think this is a really good move. For a league like CUSA, the internet is going to offer the best bang for th buck.

I think the thought is if the inet can distribute and display HD quality to a TV (can it with the right cameras/production equipment?) then you don't need the networks for distribution.

This is also an interesting point, which may keep a team like UH here. If a UH game is not picked up by CUSA or ESPN, it could contract with Fox SW to pick up one of its games. With Fox SW having two cable channels it might be possible that the Cougars might be interested in such a deal. If they moved to the MWC, they would be stuck with Mtn. coverage. CUSA, better bowl package, better TV package, less travel, and more flexibility for its members. If BCS is not on the table, UH would be losing money to move.
