Peruna's not going anywhere, and neither are the Mustangs.

When whining doesn't improve things, when does it stop? The Mustangs are like when my daughter got a tattoo. I didn't like it, but eventually, I forgot about it because her tattoo is insignificant in my world.

Like it or not, just ignore them.

Is there at least a reason for picking those names? They don't seem to have any connection to SMU, to "Mustangs", to Dallas, or anything.

Personally, just like I don't care about what uniforms we wear, I don't care about mascots either. I'll let the rest of you girls worry about that.

ponyboy is right. Score more points than the other team, and it's all good. Otherwise, I'd still have a conflict with the pom squad wearing horseshoes while we call ourselves Mustangs. I liked seeing Peruna run up and down the field at the Hawaii Bowl on tv. And it didnt really bother me seeing the big Mustangs in the background when Shawnbrey found paydirt
I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.
