I had it predicted perfect including a 45-10 over Nevada in the Hawaii Bowl, but it got deleted in the middle of a naked women thread.

okay, since smooboy asked, I wondered also......... so here are all the predictions I could dredge up from last year. some pretty good predictions made by some.
not everyone was 'brave' enough to venture a prediction (including me; also, couldn't find one from smooboy). posted purely for curiosity's sake. no offense meant to anyone.

Before the season predictions:

MustangLaxer » Sun Aug 02, 2009 11:50 am

jkflamebo » Fri Sep 04, 2009 10:40 am
6-6

ponyboy » Fri Sep 04, 2009 10:51 am
at least five wins

Come and Take It » Fri Sep 04, 2009 10:56 am
That said: 6-6.
If the stars align: 7-5 and we go to New Orleans in December.

MustangLaxer » Fri Sep 04, 2009 11:13 am
that being said, we'll be a close 5-7

After SFA game (1-0):

The PonyGrad » Mon Sep 07, 2009 10:57 am

I see us as 4-8.

SMU21TCU10 » Mon Sep 07, 2009 11:39 am

Final record - 9 - 3

lwjr » Wed Sep 16, 2009 3:32 pm

I could also see us ending, 4-8.

final record 7-4

The PonyGrad » Thu Sep 17, 2009 10:05 am

Yep, cutter, the extent of my predictions from last year was picking us to go 1-0, and I was RIGHT!!!

lol.....no slam intended. at least, you believed enough for the first game. obviously, my willingness to predict was even less. still, I was hopeful for every game.

I would say a final record of 9-5... this includes playing in the conference championship game and a bowl game--- Again!

If we have a perfect season, 12-0

If we are upset, say by TTU or TCU, then 11-1

If we are upset and have an off week against a good team, 10-2

If we have a an injuries but not a key player 9-3

If we have a few injuries and one is a key player is out, 8-4

If we have key injuries and a significant player is out and we have a key mental mistake (say blown coverage )in a close game, 7-5

If we have a few injuries, a key player included and another key player pulls a UT and gets arrested and we have a major mental error, 6-6

If we lose the entire defensive line to injuries, arrest or love sickness, and one key player on offense goes down, 5-7

If we have major injuries and lose our kicker and make multiple mental mistakes and JJ breaks his leg and misses one key game, 4-8

If we have major injuries, mental errors, multiple BLM moments lose our kicker and JJ for one key game and the scout team goes to seed, 3-9

If we have major injuries, multiple arrest, JJ and two assistants out for a key game, the scout team gives up, BLM moments become the norm again and mental errors, 2-10

If we have major injuries, multiple arrest, lose our kicker, loss JJ and two assistants, commit major mental errors, BLM moments become the norm , scout team gives up and we get that old losing spirit back, 1-11

If all the above happens and we have one game with CUSA officials making their usual crummy calls, 0-12.

If we are struck by an asteroid tomorrow 0-0!

Well, it wouldn't be the first time :roll:Oh, and if this happens, I bet a CUSA offical still screws up a game!

Come on Cutter, so I accidently superimposed my numbers for last year's prediction. It was an honest mistake.
