SMU's colors are patriotic, so I guess Liberty and Justice are fitting. From now on, the Cowboy's are America's (Professional) Team and SMU will be America's (College) Team.

Well, the colors are patriotic until JJ decides we look better in black.

Thanks for your outsiders analysis-we'll put that in the Outsider's Anaysis Box along with the rest of you that have no true allegience to SMU or their traditions.

Considering the size of SMU's alumni base and ticket-buying fan base, if someone who didn't graduate from SMU sees fit to adopt the Mustangs as his/her favorite team, we have no business holding them at arm's length ... not even an active, involved alum like yourself.

Peruna’s Island.

a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from an urban park
On an SMU ship.

Coach Jones was a mighty football man,
Peruna, brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day,

The ship set ground on the shore of this charted urban isle,

So this is the tale of our castaways,
