Actually you have a point. My wife could care less about football in any shape form or fashion. She did go to all of our son's college games when he was playing but after he graduated she never even watched it on tv. I have four season tickets and she has been to one game in the last 2 years. But... I bought JJ's book and had it laying on the coffee table and she picked it up and read it in two days. She is now a die hard JJ fan and will defend him to the death with anyone.
Just reread that book in preparation for the season. Should be mandatory summer reading for anyone on PonyFans.
Actually, that's really not a bad idea to make it summer reading...light years ahead of the crap they made required reading this year.
