Brings us back to earth and realize that the problems of this program, much like those of our football program, run much much deeper than any one person.
What a disappointment this athletic season has been to SMU fans.
My only hope is that the new head coach will be given greater flexibility in recruiting JC big men than his predecessors.
Maybe it is best that we not advance in this Tournament

With Castro and Simpson leaving after next year and the development of Rack and Reay very much in question...it will be critical to find a big man who can contribute immediately in CUSA playin 2005-6. Assuming we won't get someone like that from next year's H.S crop, I agree that J.C. recruiting will be more important than ever next year.

Outside of finding a HC, nothing is more pressing than us getting a quality big man. We have had good players that play the 4 or 5 but they are just not big enough. We need a 6'10/6'11" difference maker, but then again, who doesnt?? It must be something about Dallas. The Mavs can never seem to find a big man, and neither can we?????
