We are doing fine with our recruiting. We need more help in keeping the ones we already have to stay in school.

UH and TCU are very far ahead of us in the only ranking that matters.....national rankings. TCU a top five team....still seems like a bad dream. We were a much better program than them during the last few years of the SWC and during the WAC years.

I don't think that is saying very much. We were both pretty bad. Mediocre would have gotten us a bowl game here and there.

Since this summer's problems, alot has been improved regarding our athletic admissions. The committee that was formed allowed June and Steve to better explain their position to a number of faculty and board members that were open minded about the situation. Except for a few personal relationships it appears that the entire situation has been improved. the process is more transparent, more objective and thus more predicatable, both sides have improved their communication and respect for one another.

As many others have said "If June is happy, I'm happy"

So we may never know the effects of the bad publicity we received. Brenham ciach said that he would never recommned SMU to another player he coaches. But I agree with what Coach Jones said and that is in order to get the players to get to the next level we have to do something about this.

From the day Hubert committed, he has openly stated, on several occasions, that SMU was a holding place until something better came along, and that was before any of this admissions stuff became known.

Hall's situation did not help because they are friends. But as June said that he can win with what he has but to get to the next levels we need the flexibility to get those players. Our recruiting is fine if we want to average 6 to 8 wins per year. But not to get to the next level.

How about Todd Dodge and his "SMU will rue the day they passed on Todd Dodge" recruiting class.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Your agenda against Stallion is getting old and tired. You are "humiliating" yourself. Or is humiliation saved for SMU victories?
