I believe the league minimum salary is around $280K (for a spot on the 53-man roster), so getting paid more seems to be a given.

but, it looks like the practice squad is still a little dicey, week-to-week thing. I keep seeing practice squad guys' contracts being terminated every few days. at least he has his foot in the door.

What happened to the Giants practice squad? That was the talk when he got waived from San Diego.

he was invited to a work-out with about 8 other guys last week -- nothing more came of that.

I'm glad to see him as a falcon. I hope to see him on the field soon. When I saw Reggie Bush get hurt last night, I was thinking that New Orleans may look at him because of his pass catching ability.
