Sorry to hear that. I think this game is one that, if we make a good showing, can really help us in recruiting - especially if the young man is in attendance. Oh well..

MAybe he thought it was for Saturday and had a conflict on Friday night. Hmm... I wonder what he could be doing on a Friday night in Texas?

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

While not Friday Night Lights...California generally play on Fridays, however many teams had off week before getting into league games this week.

I understood that...but the thought that the kid might be busy playing on a Friday night still was valid so I thought I would ask the question to verify.
