beat me to it. Good work.
Count me as one who thought it would be 40% or more TCU folks. Great job by the SMU faithful and, dare I say, some casual Dallas fans. I passed several on the way out with non-SMU, non-TCU gear on. Nice to see a glimpse of what we can do. One day low to mid 20s on a regular basis is possible

I'd say TCU had maybe 10k there? It certainly was a lot less than what I thought it would be.
Great crowd, and really, really into it. Student section was pumped up! Biggest crowd of students I've seen at that stadium by far.

Yeah about 10k phrogs. I estimated a third of the crowd were of the horned lizard persuasion, and expected it to be half.
May the forth be with us.

By a few thousand. It was a GREAT crowd, and even my Frog friends were impressed. Was surprised (and happy) that it wasn't a 50-50 crowd. Much more red than purple in the stands.

If that...I expected much more. Kind of weak for the #4 team in the country only 30 miles away

I'd just like us to sell our sections to SMU fans quicker than our rivals can buy them up. Would rather not see the goofy horned frog hand sign cheering in front of me. Still, it was fantastic and hope we can have this kind of crowd more than once every couple years. (Homecoming, anyone...?)

Impressed with the attendance. We need to keep improving on the field and people will come. Too bad we couldnt win last night. We need to start beating these highly ranked teams. We will. We have young, good players and top recruits on the way. Believe, believe, believe!

A lot of Dallas people came to the game and saw the greatness of the boulevard and Ford along with the direction of SMU football.
The secret is getting out.

I took my son to the game last night. He is an '08 grad. One of the Lost Generation of SMU fans who don't attend games and show little interest in SMU football. He had a great time at the game and was surprised at the turnout. He is catching the spirit and plans to attend future homes games with me since I have season tickets. Now I gotta start working on my daughter who is an '02 grad.

Great crowd. You would think a casual fan, after attending that game, would want to come back again.

Boise State's Attendance tonight with College Gameday there: Boise State sets school record with attendance of 34,137 at Bronco Stadium.
Apples to oranges, yeah, I know. Still cool though.
