I made some enemies and some new friends...

or for that matter, tech or tcu or even a&m...

lets see.....Dallas, lubbock, waco, college station, new jersey

ok, that might be a reach, but for players who want to live in a real city, maybe not

Our section was standing through almost the entire first half. My voice is certainly going to be gravelly tomorrow. Had an absolute great time until about 2 minutes left in the 3rd.

Final note: Darius Johnson has some incredible hands!

Walking the Blvd today...I thought what an amazing place...I don't care how nice AGC or other stadiums are...there is nothing like that in Texas...when you bring people out for the first time they always want to come back...it is amazing out there...

Very good student showing - by far best of the last 25 years - and they stayed until the end. They also were loud enough to cause TCU issues on our closed end. We looked legitimate for the first time since I can remember at home.

I can finally say this after one quarter of a decade - nice job students - you are the best.

Boulevard was wall to wall (curb to curb?) people. Stadium was loud and packed. My voice is gone. Hoped for a better outcome, but best SMU game experience I've ever seen in my 14 years following the Mustangs.

By far the best crowd ever at Ford. Tcu crowd was weak, I wasn't expecting that at all. We played with heart and it shows that the future is bright

TCU crowd was weak? I wish we could pull that many visitors for CUSA games. UTEP and Houston are the only CUSA opponents who bring a decent crowd, but neither brings what TCU did. Let's see how Houston does this year because that game could be HUGE

Saw folks I haven't seen in years on the Vard. People that have not been involved are returning. It really adds to the experience. The team walk was inspirational. One could tell the players could feel the support for them. Normally, one can walk up and down the Vard without difficulties. There was so much traffic that movement was like Friday in Wal Mart after Thanksgiving.

The game atmosphere was like college games should be. I have been at games in the SEC between two top ranked teams and last night at Ford would match any of those other experiences.

So many people in red. The vendors for shirts and stuff ran out of red SMU shirts well before the game.

And the lines in the stadium were not as bad as I feared based on previous experiences.

A top notch environment last night

For sure the best atmosphere that I have ever seen at Ford, hands down. Felt more like a serious college football game than any I have ever been to here.

Could actually see SMU finally rising again as a program and a school. We are so lucky to have this coaching staff and the alumns that have funded it.

Kudos to the students. A great turnout and they looked awesome dancing with the band when they do that shuffle and then yell with their arms up. And kudos to the alums on the west side...a lot of time spent standing and yelling. Things are looking up for sure.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
