David Nelson, WR - A&M offers, Will WE?

Nelson is 6 foot 5, 195 pounds from Wichita Falls Ryder. He runs a 4.5 forty and just received an offer from A$M.

“I’ve been in contact with SMU” he reported. “They were supposed have discussions about me yesterday. They indicated that I was almost a done deal and that I would get an offer some time next week.”

Army, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, TCU, Notre Dame, Baylor, Missouri, Duke, Iowa, Arizona St., Navy, Army, Air Force, BYU, Yale, and Columbia have also been in.

He is looking for tradition, academics, facilities. "I like schools that pride themselves on facilities.”

He loves A&M’s traditions and thinks that Texas has the best facilities. He also likes Oklahoma State’s new stadium and their staff.

Nelson would like to camp at schools that have not offered him, and plans to attend mini-camps at those places. He does not know at this point whether or not he’ll attend the Nike camp in College Station on May 1.

What's there to think about on this guy? Big, fast, getting offers from good programs - the ingredients are there for a strong prospect. Let's go get him.

And I still want to add Kenton Thornton to the mix. Somehow.
