Re: FWST. Style Points Matter and TCU Didnt vs SMUBasically, we showed that we aren't a pushover team anymore. It's not like TCU just made mistakes, SMU made some plays. If we had made just a couple more, we might have seen a different outcome.
Re: FWST. Style Points Matter and TCU Didnt vs SMUThe funny thing is they WERE intentionally trying to run up the score as evidenced by going for 4th downs in field goal range TWICE early - and it still didn't do them any good.
Shake It Off Moody
Re: FWST. Style Points Matter and TCU Didnt vs SMUUltimately the game probably did not have much impact on the polls. They (TCU) are #5 mainly as a recognition of Oregon (at least for one week as Stanford will beat them) and are very close in votes to #4.
The score, which is all many see, was basically in line with the spread. ![]() Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re: FWST. Style Points Matter and TCU Didnt vs SMULittle Ball of Hate (LBOH) - she can't write and neither can her hubby Marc.
They have trouble being objective when it comes to TCU - total homers.
Re: FWST. Style Points Matter and TCU Didnt vs SMUAnd that's mostly what their readership wants out in Fort Worth. The goal is not objectivity -- the goal is to sell papers.
Re: FWST. Style Points Matter and TCU Didnt vs SMU
I'm not sure you can run up the score if it's the first half and you're losing.
