Re: SMU led CUSA in attendance this week. The red out was great against tcu, but a BLUE OUT is needed against Red Houston.

Yes, winning is vital to attendance. But so is a team of interest like a TCU, a Tech, an A&M. This game attracted the casual fan. Winning will come. We need to continue to improve scheduling.

Interesting to note that the total of the 3 most highly attended games in CUSA this week don't even fill up DKR stadium or the majority of SEC stadiums. Peruna is my mascot!
Re: SMU led CUSA in attendance this week.SEC avg attendance YTD:
Alabama 101,821 Tennessee 99,699 Georgia 92,746 LSU 92,557 Florida 90,446 Auburn 86,043 South Carolina 75,031 With 97K in sold tickets between SMU, UH and UTEP, it's more than all but two SEC teams. OK, but now compare the progress those three schools have made relative to any of the SEC teams on this list. The important thing is steady progress. SMU and UH together equal Arkansas' avg YTD attendance. Not bad for two urban universities on the rise, compared with a flagship state university with a Heisman candidate and a Top 10 ranking last weekend with #1 Alabama in town.
