Assuming we are eligible, my prediction:

1) If we win conference-Liberty Bowl;
2) If we do not win conference and if Hawaii is bowl eligible: Hawaii Bowl;
3) If not 1 or 2, then Armed Forces Bowl.

I agree with Dooby except if the Dallas Football Classic is availiable. CUSA desperately wants that Bowl to succeed against the Big 10 and on New Years Day. It could be our Conference Champion slot with the Liberty Bowl backing off CUSA commitment. How they going to fill 100,000 seats. SMU can fill more than others so pressure will be brought to bear by City Officials and CUSA to play in that game. 32,000 seat Ford could be filled by a number of CUSA West teams

I think I said this in some other thread, but if we don't win the conference and head to the Liberty Bowl I think we'll stay local this year for a bowl. Especially with the Armed Forces being a guaranteed CUSA spot this year.

June loves Hawaii. Hawaii bowl gets preferential selection treatment over other bowls. If hawaii goes bowling, we play them.

With June's success in that stadium and his success in Hawai'i Bowls, I wouldn't be that unhappy with a return trip. Of course, gotta want the Liberty Bowl, but another 3+ TD bowl win on the islands sounds good to me, even if it has to be watched on TV.
