CUSA could have one less bowl right with Army playing well. I think they take CUSA's spot in Armed Forces Bowl at Ford Stadium if they are bowl eligible-they are 3-1 now. Most of the Big 12 have winning records through creampuff part of non-conference schedule but if the Big 12 doesn't fill up bowls CUSA could end up in Dallas Football Classic against Big 10.
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

What in the H3LL is the "Beef O Brad's Bowl? I would rather go to the "Poulan Weed Eater Bowl".

I do not think they will put a west team in the St Pete bowl.

If we don't win the conference, I think we'll stay local for a bowl this year.
Dunno why, I just have a feeling. Either the Dallas FB Classic or Armed Forces Bowl if a slot is available.

The biggest joke is they both have Baylor going to a bowl.....looking at their remaining schedule, the only game I can see them winning is at Colorado, which would make them 4-8
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs

no one has forgotten about the loss. this discussion is about conference play, and we don't play ANYONE that is as good as the team that beat us on friday. if we play like we did against TCU for the rest of our games, we won't lose again. i don't believe that will happen, b/c our kids played up to TCU's level for as long as they could. but i think June & Co. will have them ready for the rest of the schedule.

considering our performance in our two losses to vastly superior teams, i'm pretty happy with where we are, and pretty confident that we can at least win the west. Houston will still be tough. very tough, but winnable.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Yes, we should beat Rice, but there have been other seasons when we should have won down there.

Let's get past the Owls before we worry about anything else.
