When SMU and Rice play this Saturday it will be the 88th meeting between the two Texas schools and former SWC rivals, making it the most-played rivalry in Conference USA. Four of the five longest rivalries in C-USA take place over the next three weeks. The fifth-longest was renewed last week when Houston defeated Tulane. Here's a look at the longest-running rivalries in C-USA:

I wonder why the coaches don't look at the special teams film and learn? Two years in-a-row they have made TCU's Jeremy Kerley the "special teams" player of the week. 234 yards last week put another great effort by our guys down the drain against a more-talented team. It won't happen again.....thank goodness he is moving on to the NFL or we would probably kick it to him again!
