They haven't even mentioned us all week.

I did find it funny that at least one guy thinks "Rice makes sense, for many reasons" to be added to B-East along with TCU.

As you can see, they are preoccupied.

Yeah, I've been lurking on their board since Sunday.
It is a depressing place.
So depressing, they seem only remotely aware of our impending visit on Saturday.

Did you bother to remind them? 8) However, you have to remember that losing to Baylor was an embarrassing experience. They probably haven't gotten over that yet.

I keep wondering why Baylor beating Rice like they did is some big disappointment. Baylor is that much better than Rice. Shouldn't come as a big surprise. Baylor's is not TCU but they get some quality athletes and could compete for championships in CUSA West-may not win it but compete definitely.

I think he was speaking from Rice's inflated point of view.

I was speaking from the view of Baylor's pathetic showing against TCU which undoubtedly gave Rice faithful hope for a win.

If the Rice "faithful" have no idea we are coming, does that mean there will be more Pony Fans than Rice fans?

Friend of mine said this about his Rice experience:
"We caught Northwestern beating up on the Owls - it's an interesting stadium experience. Free parking, our supporters nearly outnumbering Rice supporters - it's a bit surreal. But it's a great stadium to watch a game - hope your Mustangs beat the feathers off them."

If Northwestern can almost outnumber them, we can too.

All my Rice friends down here in Houston are coming up with lame excuses as to why they can't make it to the game. And......some of them played ball for Rice.

Can we please try to make this another SMU "home game?"

Let's not get overconfident about Rice. This, to me, is THE trap game of the year.

We are not good enough to have "trap" games. Those games are usually reserved for top 25 teams. Every game for this program is big and we should not be overlooking anyone, especially a conference game on the road.

Go tell UAB there are no trap games after our game with them last year...

Expected to roll over us.. and that loss kept them out of a bowl by their estimation.
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.
